Navigating Limerick

Limerick is quite a small city and very walkable.  While staying in the University you could walk or cycle into the city center or take a local bus. Bus Eireann (numbers 304, 304A and the 310) will take you into the city.  Adult fares range from €1.90 to €2.20.  You will be given a Leap Card when you first arrive and you can use this for the bus service and top up as needed.

While traveling around the country you can use the Bus Eireann service.

Or the train service is very good for getting to some of the other cities, i.e. Cork, Dublin or Galway. Other independent services include Dublin Coach and Citylink

These websites allow you to search for flights based on your desired dates and locations, and also show you the cheapest destinations/flights for your chosen dates. Another useful tool for finding the best deals is Lastminute.com or booking.com, which compare prices from multiple accommodations to help you get the best price. Additionally, consider booking directly with budget airlines like Ryanair, Easyjet, Vueling, and Iberia as they often offer discounted fares.
